LEARNING RESULTS

The course aims to introduce students to the basic principles of research methodology and to understand how applied research is conducted. The aim is to become familiar with the design of small-scale research projects and the techniques of organizing and writing scientific papers. As part of the course, students will be able to write a CV and learn basic job search techniques, as well as be able to meet the requirements of a job interview.

After the end of the course students will be able to:

  • understand the concepts, characteristics and stages of scientific research.
  • know the types of research
  • have fully understood the rules of writing a scientific article, a bachelor’s or master’s thesis.
  • organize a bibliographic search and to evaluate the sources of scientific literature
  • use data search techniques.
  • use the methodology of writing assignments
  • know the modern techniques of presentation of work
  • be able to prepare a publication in a scientific journal.
  • write CVs and cover letters
  • Successfully meet the demands of job interviews
