After successfully completing the module, students can

  • Work independently on a problem from a subject area using scientific methods.
  • Work independently scientifically under supervision: topic definition, problem analysis, development of theses and solution approaches.
  • Develop and define projects taking into account the given time.
  • Evaluate and interpret results, taking into account the formalities when writing papers and publications.
  • Write and design a scientific paper taking into account the principles of ensuring good scientific practice.
  • Have the opportunity to present the work publicly and to answer questions about the presentation.

COURSE CONTENT

The content of the course includes the planning and implementation of the preparation stages of a comprehensive thesis in the form of either applied research or the study of a problem, in matters related to the subjects of wine, vine and beverage sciences. In this context, there is a systematic monitoring of the thesis preparation processes, the results of which are presented upon completion of the work in an open meeting. In particular the content includes:

  • Study / investigation of topic (problem / issue) in subjects of wine, vine and beverage sciences,
  • Inculcation of students in research thinking and methodology.
