Christos Avramopoulos is a graduate of the Department of Oenology and Beverage Technology – University of West Attica (UniWA), where he also completed his Master’s degree in the Science of Wine and Beer, specializing in beer. He is currently a PhD candidate in the same department, conducting research under the title: “Study of Non-Saccharomyces Yeasts in Beer Production: Research and Development of Sour and Low-Alcohol Beers, With or Without the Use of Additives.” His research focuses on fermentation processes involving non-Saccharomyces yeasts, particularly in the context of sour and low-alcohol beer production. He has experience in wine and beer analysis, as well as in fermentation microbiology. Furthermore, he has over three years of professional experience in the wine and beer industry, and he has also served as a teaching assistant at the University of West Attica. His academic contributions include three published conference abstracts and one oral presentation accepted at peer-reviewed scientific conferences.
