I was born in 1954 in Volos.
Degrees:
- Chemist at the University of Thessaloniki Greece
- Oenologist • Viticulture • wine sensory evaluation at the Bordeaux Institute of Oenology.
- PhD (2005) in fermentations with immobilized yeasts in University of Patras Greece.
- I worked as oenologist for 9 years at the “Hellenic Society for Wines and Alcohol” (Botrys) in the production of spirits, wines and spirits
- For 5 years, as an oenologist and wine seller in the company “Oenotechniki”
- I made wines in Bordeaux, Attica, Nemea, Naoussa, Messinia and Paros.
Teaching:
- In 1987 I began teaching at the newly established Department of Oenology Beverage Control and Technology and Sensory Evaluation of TEI of Athens,
- I retired as Professor at the Department of «Wine Sciences, Vine and Drinks »at the University of «Western Attica».
- In Greek print and online journalism magazines mainly wines for more than 30 years
- 14 scientific publications in international magazines and two chapters in international science volumes.
- Main supervisor in one PhD completed and one in progress.
